How to Motivate People

It's obvious that you have noticed so many depressed, stressed, shy and frustrated people. You would have even felt uneasy and want to help them to pull them up.

Scroll down and See how to help them. This will not only make their life happy, but also will make your life happier.

  • Care for them

Greet them, when you see them, Say HI and talk with them. Just try to distract them from being alone. Don't ever ignore them for any matter. Because, all are the same. They may be a little different in their behavior. But, showing them some care is the best thing you can do.

  • Make them Smile

Throw some random jokes with the flow of the conversation. Drag them outwards their problems and laugh out loud.

  • Be a Nice Friend

A good friend is always there for their friends in thick and thin, unconcerned of their status. It's simple as that. Always be there for them. When they are being bullied, stand up for them. When nobody is there for them, BE there.

  • Inspire them

After some chill talk, get into business. Tell them that they are really unique and special. Tell them that you have never met such a marvelous character like him/her. Make them feel, problems occur to everyone. But, the challenge is to face them, bravely. Tell them inspirational stories and encourage them to enjoy life.

  • Introduce them to your friends

When you get to know your depressed friend, you can introduce him/her to your friends. Consider him/her as one of your besties. Those people always like to know strangers, but shy at the same time. You can be the cord of connection and introduce them to many of your friends. So that she/he will be merrier.

  • Motivate them to chase their dreams

They'll be pleased to share their sad story with you. Once you get to know that, avoid spreading it to others. Remember that, they told you the truth because they believe in you, they trust you. Instead, encourage them. Tell them to never stop chasing their dreams for silly matters. This will give them some hope. They need it. You BE it.

  • Be Happy

If your job is satisfactory, then jump and shout out the happiness. Be proud that you mean a lot to people.
But, if things go out wrong, then WHY worry? Bygones are bygones. Just remember, you tried. It's totally out of your hands, to change them. They themselves have to. Be happy because it's the thought that counts. You thought for good. If things are unsatisfactory, don't worry because you tried to do good. That's all what matters most.
    So, Good Luck!

How to Structure a Speech

The topics, the quality of research, the tone of voice, content, delivery, power, humor and passion of any speech vary greatly from speaker to speaker. But, the structure of any speech should be similar. Every speech needs a structure of five core elements.

You'll learn how to write a neatly structured speech, after reading this post

  • Goal

This is the step that everybody is most resistant to. Yet, this is the most tool they can use. Your goal is never stated in the speech but is a guideline to organize a clear and a meaningful message.

A Goal frames your speech. An effective goal:
    • Should be specific
    • Should be in one sentence
    • Should have only one idea

  • Power Statement

The Power Statement is the most important sentence in your speech as it previews what you're going to say. It's better if you cna vocally outline what you're going to say. It helps the audience to manage the verbal message.Just establish the major headings of your speech, so the audience is aware of what is coming.

  • Main Points

Main Points make up the content of your speech. Now, that your power statement is already told, make sure your main points go along with the power statement. And, flow with the correct order. Because, the audience now have expectations of what you will say.

  • Introduction

Being deceived by the literal meaning of 'Introduction' people often believes that constructing the 'Introduction' is the first step to planning a speech. But, thinking of an introduction without a message is a GRAVE mistake! Your introduction has the power to grab the audience's attention.

    An Introduction can be,
    • A short story
    • An appropriate example
    • A shocking statistic
    • A fact
    • An appropriate quotation
    • A joke or a song

    However, every introduction should:
      • Grab the audience's attention
      • Include a tone (Humor/ Serious/ Urgent)
      • Be believable
      • Be a guide to the content (Your Power Statement should be the last sentence of your introduction)

  •   Conclusion

Your conclusion must be satisfying and obvious. The audience should know when the speech is ending and when to applaud. The conclusion should be brief and should have the end linked to your introduction.

    And That's what Professionals do.

How to let your Child be Independent

Parents, you can build up your child's personality even at home. The things that often slip your mind are the best to use for this purpose. Just think for a while, some children wake up at about 5 a.m. Yet, don't engage in any educational activity, in that period. All they are doing is getting ready to go to school.

But assume that your child should leave home a 6.30 a.m. But even they wake up at 6.15 a.m. they still can manage their time to do their work and go to school at proper time. That means that even 15 minutes are enough for them to get ready to school. So , considering this situation, one hour slips from you and your child's time.

Let me give you a guide on how to make your child independent.

  • Wake up your child early morning

Wake up your child during 4 and 5 a.m. And advice him to arrange his bed immediately after rising from the bed.
  • Engage him in studies

Even for an hour, your child can engage in some educational activity. Psychologically speaking, BEST hours in a day are 4 to 6a.m. The brain's ability to absorb knowledge becomes greater in early morning. During these two hours brain's short term memory comes to a peak level. Therefore, engaging in self-study in this time period is so effective.
  • Make your child Hygienic

Maintaining good hygiene in your child is the most important of all. Tell your child to arrange his clothe-closet tidily. Remove tight, loose and faded clothes and keep only the clothes your child is currently using. Arrange his cupboard in a tidy manner, which makes it easier to find them quickly.

Make him keep everything in specific places. Help him sort out the places where to keep which thing. The place to put his brush, towel, shoes, books, writing materials and every other stuff.
  • Let your child do his own work

Advice your child to wash his used clothes himself. In the beginning he'll be down with this but, after it is a habit, he will not miss it. And let him iron his clothes on his own. Help him with all these.

Also practice him to go to market and buy goods since childhood. He'll learn about numbers and also about the society. That is essential.

Always make him independent. Let him do everything by himself. That's how one will learn.
  • Let him sweat playing

Let your child play at least 8 hours a week. Don't cage him inside the house. Offer him his liberty and let him enjoy his childhood. Not everything means Education.
  • About Computer Games

Locate your home PC (Personal Computer) where it is visible to everyone. That's number one.

And let your child play video games for a certain time period. Advice him not to get addicted. But don't force him no to play video games. That will boost him to play video games somehow. You should always give his desires, the priority.
  • Have Family Meetings once a day

The best time for this is, 'Supper Time'. Have a chit-chat with your kids everyday for about an hour. Ask them, "How was the day?", and about the school life, the people they met today and so on. Other than, a parent who is always looking down at their child as if to ground them for their behavior, be a friend to your child, And they would also treat you the same way. Treat them the way you want yourself to be treated.
  • Practice him to Save Money

If you have given him a till to collect money, throw away those coin collectors. Instead, focus his mind on Money Notes. Create your little one's knowledge on values of lakhs, crores, millions and billions.
  • Focus on your Child's Health

Practice your child to drink at least 6 bottles of water, each day. Water is the best cure for every disease.
And give your child 'Vitamin C' each and everyday. It strengthens their healthiness.
Also, give 'Vitamin B' at least twice a week. It is good for their nervous system.

How to get use of Visual Aids in a Presentation

Talking about visual aids in a presentation, the first and last thing what comes on to your mind is, 'PowerPoint Slides' I believe. Many are comfortable with PowerPoint as they are with an old pair of slippers. But, if you peek to the happening Presentation-software market, your jaw will probably drop down. And if you're not keeping pace, you can miss out on so many opportunities to take your visual aids to the next level.

Let's see what's going on inside the Presentation-software market

  •  Power Point - More than a Slide Design Tool

When PowerPoint is used today, it's more often employed for purposes beyond its original slide design function. Jumping to advances in
PowerPoint's latest versions, 2010 and 2013, more now use the software as a full 'Creative Suite' for tasks like editing video, enhancing photographs, as well as for creating printed documents.

    • As a Video Editor
      You can always use
PowerPoint for smaller, less complex video-editing projects. You can also create your own videos or convert existing PowerPoint Presentations to video format for uploading for Sites like YouTube.
    • As a Graphics Editor
      You can use
PowerPoint to edit or enhance photographs used in presentations, as well as to modify images like vector graphics. You can crop photos, change colors, use different backgrounds and more with PowerPoint's tools.

    • To create Printed Documents
      You can use
PowerPoint's 'Custom Layouts' feature to create pitch books as well as white papers, project proposals and other text-heavy documents, often saving them as PDFs.

  • Keynote - Your Presentations, Totally decked out

There are exceptions for everything. If a presentation will be used internally, I would recommend you the old standby PowerPoint. But if the presentation will be delivered more selectively with video or complex graphics, I might opt for Apple's Keynote Design Software.

Keynote is effective for its ability to hold high-resolution video and create transitions and for its text editing capability.

  • Haiku Deck - Presentation Software that inspires

This free iPad app is well-suited for simple presentations but also provides access to a large collection of images on Flickr. You can add amazing images, create charts and even share them via social networks. But it's not designed for more robust presentations that require animations.

How to Study at Night

If you have chosen to study at night, then probably you're a night owl. You neither do like to study nor wake up early in the morning. I believe that you can stay awake at night till midnight or more than that. If so, there are several things you might want to know before jumping on to studying.

  • Time Management

First, sketch a time table including your subjects and give a specific time period for each subject.

Even though you chose to study at night, try your best to cover them at day time. And, keep Maths, Physics and other interesting, mind-refreshing subjects to be studied at night.

  • Environment

The place you choose to study should not be ill-ventilated. It should be an pleasant open area with fresh air. Before beginning to study make sure you have a clean surrounding.
Your table should only contain your books, rough papers and writing materials.

  • Lights

The book must be exposed to sufficient light. Even, there is sufficient light, if your shadow covers your book, your eyes will get tired and you will feel sleepy in no time.

Light of a Filament bulb is better for studying purposes rather than the light of Tube bulb. Researches say that some students often get tired eyes and headaches because of tube bulb light.

  • Starting to Study

Always begin to study along with a pen and a paper for rough work. Keep on mind the time you began and the time you should finish studying, according to your time schedule. If not, you'll feel drowsy since the very beginning. Place a water bottle in front of your table and drink water once in a while. This will probably remain you awake.

  • Efficiency

Before starting to study, manage your time to cover all your lesson's parts. Or else, the work done will be relatively less than the time period.

  • Be focused on the Lesson

While studying, check your rough works often. And, create mind-maps, short notes and stick to them.
Don't lose your focus by shifting through memories and dreaming about random stuff.
Because for all things the problem is you think you have time. After you wasted all the time you had, you have nothing at all.
Stay focus on Present, your lesson!

  • Physical Activities

Whenever you feel drowsy, stand up and study while walking. Shake your head, neck and do some quick exercises with your arms and legs. This will draw away the drowsiness.

  • Rest

Studying overnight isn't something very much practical. Because everyone wants their beauty sleep no matter what. It's rather easy to say than done.
So, you must know, for every 50 minutes you study, take a 10 minute break. Or else, for every 25 minutes you study, take a 5 minute break.
It's better if you can keep looking at a fish tank or a pond in that short break. This will calm your mind quite a lot.

  • Revision

After studying for an hour, pause for a while and revise what you have learned up to then. Close your book and sketch diagrams and do rough work to sum up work you have done during that hour.

    HEALTH TIP!

Try taking *Vitamin B* at least twice a week. This is helpful for your nervous system.

      • Margarine/Butter  -  250g
      • Flour  -  250g
      • Eggs  -  4
      • Baking Powder  -  2 tea spoons
      • Milk  -  1/2 cup
      • Vanilla  -  2 tea spoons
      • Essence

        Fluff Frosting:

      • Milk - 1/4 cup
      • Butter  -  10 table spoons
      • Icing sugar  -  500g
      • Essence
      • Icing color
  • Preparing the batter
    • Beat Sugar and Margarine to a peak level

For better results let your Margarine come to room temperature. Because, when mixing with dry ingredients, cold ingredients doesn't combine well.

    • Add Eggs little by little and mix well

Use large eggs. When putting 4 eggs to the bowl, First put them in to 2 separate dishes and  after adding eggs to the mixture, then put the other 2 eggs to those dishes and again add them to the mixture in short intervals. This step is done, because if one egg is spoiled chances are you'll put it on a good egg. So, both eggs happen to be useless then.

    • Sieve Flour and Baking Powder, and fold into the mix gently

Take spoonfuls of sieved flour and baking powder and put into the bowl while beating. If it seems to be solid, pour milk in regular intervals. Beat with the electric mixer until well combined.

    • Add vanilla essence into the bowl and mix gently

  •   Preheat the Oven at 180 C / 350 F

When you're baking anything, make sure you preheat your oven. If you put cupcakes into the oven and expect them to be just fine, that's a BIG mistake!
  • Preparing the Cupcake Pan

    • Place your paper or foil baking cups in Cupcake Pan cavities

    • Fill pan cavities 1/2 to 2/3 full

Use 2 plastic butter knives or a cookie scoop for this. This will help you to equally measure the batter into you cupcake liners. And, remember not to overfill the cupcake liners. The batter will spill out when baking. Be mindful that your cupcakes will rise.

  • Baking your Cupcakes

    • Put the Cupcakes in the Oven

Once your cupcakes are inside the oven, Do NOT Peek! Let them bake for 20 minutes. If you're baking several pans at the same time, you may need few more minutes to let them be.
You can test your cupcakes whether they are done or not, while they're still in the oven by inserting a cake tester or a toothpick in to the center cupcakes in your pan.
    • Cool Cupcakes in the pan

Leave cupcakes in the pan and let them cool itself for ONLY 5 minutes. Otherwise, they will continue to dry out.
    • Cool completely on a Cooling Grid

I know that it's hard to resist the eagerness to eat baked cupcakes straight from the oven. Because they smell so divine!!!) But you should leave them to cool down before starting to frost. Chances are you'll end up with melted frost cupcakes.

  • Frosting Your Cupcakes

    • Cream Margarine with Icing sugar

In a bowl, beat Margarine/Butter with the Electric Mixer until it get light and fluffy. Then add Icing sugar one cup at a time, beating well on medium speed.
Gradually, add milk when icing begin to appear dry.
    • Choose Icing colors

Use concentrated icing color. Dip a toothpick into the color tube, then swirl it into the white icing. Add color until you get the shade you desire. Then Blend icing well with a spatula.

    • Choose an icing nozzle

    • Fill Icing into a Piping Bag
Before filling the icing into piping bag place your nozzles in the tip of the piping bag. And then fill icing into it. After that, twist the other end of the piping bag and get ready to decorate your cupcakes.

    • Decorate your Cupcake in a way you desire
Use different nozzles and different icing colors and make your cupcakes divine :)

    • Finished!
